Hope all is well! Today I show you the 14th design of the Christmas Challenge wich is Ornaments. This is the first manicure I used acrylic paints for. On lots of nail art tutorials I've seen people using acrylic paint instead of nail polishes and thought it would be worth a try.
For this manicure I applied three thin coats of Essence Rich & Pretty before drawing the ornaments with red and green acrylic paint. With a silver striper I added the hangers and again used ocre acrylic paint to add some bows.
Have you ever used acrylic paint for nail designs? Those were easy to control, very opaque and dried quickly. They dry matte but I added a top coat anyway. The only disadvantage it that they don't level out after application but leave a slightly bumpy surface. I surely will try acrylic paints again for nail art!
